I spent a large amount of time this weekend in serene happiness.
Saturday saw a trip to Boston to procure LUSHY goodness, curry, and Japanese candy which I adore.
Sunday had a trip to Prescott Park to take pictures and crochet in the beautiful weather. I finished a hat for Katie and took pictures of flowers and bees and puppies. It was very lovely. The weather, especially compared with the giant rainstorm of Saturday evening, could not have been more beautiful. There was sun and a light breeze and it was the perfect temperature to laze about in the shade.
I’m preparing for my last semester of graduate school. I have a hundred forms to fill in and a whole lot of windmills to tilt at in order to force the school to let me finish without trying to charge me the equivalent of my kidneys (black market price). And while having to deal with all that is making me really stressed out (hello 2.6 pounds gained last week… how I hate you!), I’m so close to being DONE.
I can’t wait to not be a graduate student any more. I’m terrfied of paying back my school loans, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
And with that I’ll leave you with one last picture of my adorable wife, wearing the new hat I made on Sunday.
